Rabbi Menachem Mendel was the last Rebbe of Mielec and was killed in Radomyśl Wielki in 1943. A letter from Rabbi Naftali Horowitz to Rabbi L. Horowitz in Kraków concerning the anti-semitic riots in Kishinev. This letter sold for $4000 in a recent private auction A torah scroll believed to be from the Mielec Synagogue. It is now owned by the Oborski Museum in Mielec and was on display in November 2019.
